It’s time to kick it ‘n’ rip it for some flat water sailing!

We invite Hobie 16 teams to enter the 2023 Hobie 16 WA State Championships. The event will be hosted by The Cruising Yacht Club, Rockingham, just a short drive south of Perth to sail in the pristine waters of Mangles Bay.

Racing will be held on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 March. A casual shake down session and shore based training will be provided for interested teams who arrive on Friday afternoon. We encourage teams to arrive from midday to take part, the training will be at around 4pm.

Dinner tickets for the Saturday night meal will be included with the event entry for competitors and additional tickets can be purchased (adult / child / toddler). A casual overall presentation will be held on Sunday evening as soon as convenient after the conclusion of racing.

Regatta t-shirts are not included with the entry fee and can be purchased as an additional item. T-shirts ordered after 12 February will be available after the event (postage not included).

HCAWA will provide overnight security for the boats parked at TCYC on Friday and Saturday.

Camping is available at the TCYC compound on Point Peron Road. Please indicate this on your entry form if you wish to camp.

The 2023 HCAWA AGM will be held at the TCYC clubhouse prior to the Saturday dinner.
