Hobie Team WA is joining in the resurgence of the Hobie 14!
After spending 30 years on the shelf, we’ve dusted off the Hobie 14 WA State Championship Perpetual Trophy and its ready for some FUN. A few boats from around that time have been listed off too as well as some shiny new ones. Old and new, it’s sure to be a great time on and off the water with plenty of great sail colours.
We invite all Hobie 14 teams to be part of the 2023 Hobie 14 WA State Championships. The event will be hosted by The Cruising Yacht Club of WA, Rockingham and is part of the WAXIT Multihull Grand Prix. Just a short drive south of Perth to sail in the pristine waters of Mangles Bay, don’t miss out on this fun event!
Racing will be held on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 March.
To be included in the first Hobie 14 WA Championship in 30 years, all you need to do is get a Hobie 14 (visit hobieclass.com if you need to know more) and enter the WAXIT Multihull Grand Prix. Entries for the Hobie 14 WA State Championship will be included at the discretion of the HCAWA Committee. Results for the Hobie 14’s will be extracted from the WAXIT results and scored as an individual fleet. The winner will be crowned the WA State Champion and awarded the perpetual trophy, other prizes may be awarded at the discretion of the HCAWA Committee.
The WAXIT Multihull Grand Prix and 2023 Hobie 14 WA State Championships is going to be a lot of fun, please enter now, we hope to see you there!
